ADVANCED GROUP BOOKINGS

Before requesting payment Dalby Bike Barn will confirm the full details of your booking using your preferred method of communication. Upon receipt of your guaranteed booking we will send you a Dalby Bike Barn confirmation.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Your booking or hire is not guaranteed until payment has been received. Full payment is required before any cycling equipment will be delivered.

We accept payment by credit card (MasterCard & Visa) UK debit cards, or for advanced bookings we accept bank transfer or sterling cheques drawn on a UK Bank 10 days prior to hire.

DEPOSITS

A 50% deposit is required to secure an advanced group booking and full payment is required no later than 48hrs before the booking date.

CYCLE HIRE CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

No refunds will be given for cancellations of cycle hire bookings.

If you are unable to undertake your cycle hire booking due to serious illness, jury service or any other serious reason, your booking can be transferred to another date subject to availability within a 6 month period from the original booking date. Transfers can only be made if you cancel your booking at least one day before the date of the hire.

If you do not turn up to collect your equipment on the agreed date of the booking without notifying Dalby Bike Barn at least 48 hours before, we will not be able to transfer your booking to another date.

HELMETS

Helmets are provided free of charge and we strongly encourage their use.

YOUNG PERSON SUPERVISION

All persons under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult for all Cycle Hire.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

Photo identification must be provided upon collection of your cycling equipment such as Passport or Driving License. Your ID will be stored securely at Dalby Bike Barn until the equipment has been returned.

All cycles and equipment are thoroughly checked after before and after each hire. Any damage found will be charged for.

Puncture repairs kits are provided free and only charged if the tube is used or the kit not returned. All bikes returned with punctures will incur a repair and replacement charge.

Please cycle sensibly with respect for others in this natural habitat and please follow the Forest Cycle Code and Highway Code (rules 187-211). Anyone cycling in a discourteous or unsafe manner whilst in possession of Dalby Bike Barn Equipment will have the equipment repossessed by Dalby Bike Barn with no refund of hire charges.

Cycles should be locked to a permanent fixture while ever left un attended

Theft of a unlocked bicycle will be the responsibility of the hirer who will be subject to a charge to cover a replacement of a bicycle if stolen.

All equipment must be returned at the correct time as indicated on the booking form. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee of £15.00 for late returns for each cycle.

No refunds or reductions will be given for any equipment that has been returned for any reason, early.

Cycling equipment will only be hired to customers who attend a pre cycle hire briefing. If for any reason we believe a customer cannot competently ride a cycle we reserve the right not to issue them with any cycling equipment.

Dalby Bike Barn reserves the right not to hire equipment to an individual
